HAPPY HALLOWEEN! My Weeks in Pics ~10/12 - 10/31~

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

My fav holiday is here! But while the kiddos are running amok tonight, me and my girls celebrated last Saturday. And instead of doing a special Halloween post like last year, I'm gonna do a special VIDEO, so make sure your subscribed to my YouTube Channel to see it tonight at 7 PM PST!

Anywho, onto what I've done the rest of this month! (Told you I'd be better at doing these!)

I went shopping and picked up a few things. The only thing of note from one shopping trip is the adorable owl chapstick from Forever 21. Not the greatest chapstick, but IT'S SO CUTE! ><
And then I was watching ke-sha Forsaken's book haul where she hauled The Blood of Olympus, and I had to have it. Also had to junk food, because I have the self discipline of a squirrel when it comes to sweets.

I fangirled hard when I found out WhittyNovels was following me on Tumblr.

Halloween decorations started in my room at the beginning of the month, so I could film with it, as well as just look at it. Favorite month and holiday, of course my room is glowing with pumpkins, owls, and whatever else I found at Target. :)

Me and my girls celebrated Halloween already by eating enough junk food for an army (seriously, Ray bought a laundry basket FULL of food!!!!)
Megan was The Tardis from Dr. Who, Ray is dressed as Thea on her date with Loki from her fanfic Darkness There, and Nothing, and I was a knight. I had to pull everything together in less than a day because of a family emergency that had me in Phoenix for about a week.

Went shopping again, picked up some more makeup, as well as Taylor Swift's 1989, Target Deluxe Edition. IT'S AMAZING! I've listened to the whole album about 30 times already, and I picked it up THIS WEEK!

While getting my cd, I found these romance novels. They're so corny, I had to take a picture to chuckle at :D

Had to save this picture from Tumblr. It's a post about reading, and how we need to accept each other and stop judging what others read. Then LA Knight, Ray, reblogged it with those tags. HILARIOUS! :D

Now for my home Halloween decorations. There's a lot, and it took 3 days (mostly because I kept putting some of it off, lol)

This is what the front entryway looks like, just waiting for Trick or Treaters! I have to admit, I do more inside than outside, but that's cuz I don't want grabby little ones to steal the adorable stuffed animals! The hand made witch by my Aunt Jean is with the teddy bears on my dresser sitting in the hallway. My current one is barely functioning, so I needed a new one, this one was free, but I'm dying to fix it up to look cool. When that happens I'll let ya'll know because my room will look very different :)
The reason I have a grim reaper on the other little table that's always sat by the door, in this house and our previous one, is because it's too scary for little ones. More than one parent was holding a little boy or girl in tears when I put it up last, so for the past 2 or so years it's been on the table, so the bigger kids can see it, bu the little ones can't.
And then just some pumpkins my grandfather gave to me (randomly he came home with 7 of them for me!) as well as a few other things are right by the door.

I told you we're lacking in the outside decor! Our door's simple this year because a. can't use the door hanging we have and b. last time I used fake webbing it was full of ants! Had to toss it. So our big spider, my "Are you a good witch or a bad witch?" hanging sign, and a witch picture are all I have to work with.
To light the path for the little ones I have some purple lights (I really need more, only got 1 box ><) as well as a pumpkin sign thingy that we were randomly gifted. And of course, our Trick or Treat giant bows are hanging form out lights outside, as well as our wooden bats are in our tree. I may put up the ghosty, but I haven't a clue where to put him...

Welp, that's it! I'm ready for tonight...mostly. We have a light up pumpkin by the door, but the lights went out, so I need to hit up Walmart down the road for more.

Oh, and if you saw that my car broke down, it was a loose hose. We just put it back on, filled up the radiator, and now it's fine! So I need to get dressed and head to Wallyworld.

Have a fun Halloween!

AND, for something spooky, I'll just post this video here, because it's my fav this time of year!

My MANY Weeks in Pics!

Okay.

I feel dumb. You know why I feel dumb? Because I was having trouble with My Weeks/Week in Pics posts. Because I didn't have many pictures. But somewhere in the back of my mind, I kept thinking, "But I thought I took more pictures!" And yet, they weren't on my computer. So I forgot about it, and moved on.

-_-'

I HAD ABOUT 30 ON MY CAMERA!!!! ><

Something exciting happened, and I had that camera on me, so I snapped a quick picture. Opened up my sd card that was in the camera, and lo! And behold! THERE THEY WERE. THIRTY FLIPPING PICTURES.

-_-

THAT IS LITERALLY MY FACE.

-_-

Okay, so enough ranting about how forgetful I am (because some of these date back to AUGUST), let's get to the VERY long post with all the pictures! :)

First of all, I won some stuff from THIS SITE THAT ROCKS!

I won some Mary Kay makeup, all in my favorite colors, green and purple! I wore the look in an upcoming video, so subscribe to my youtube channel to see it! :)

I also got some lotions, body sprays, a body scrub, and a body wash! I shared among my mother and friends. We all love it!

And so stuff to make walking easier. I love them all! The heel protectors work and don't peel, and the gel insoles made my brown boots so comfy!!! :)

I also went SHOPPING! :)

First I either bought or was gifted this makeup! That's Maybelline's The Rocket (which ROCKS), Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Lemonade (LOVE), Clinque's CC Cream in Very Light (quite good), Clinique's mascara (haven't tried it), and two Rimmel eye liners, ScandalEyes in black and Special Eyes in Ivy (pretty good).

FINALLY got some good headphones with a mic, and some lotion.

Also hit up Hot Topic and go this on clearance for an upcoming video

And also saw these shoes! Aren't they amazing!?!

My cats have been cute too!

Mighty, patiently waiting (or not, he is kinda glaring) for me to move so he can get down from on top of the closet

And Strider cuddling me!!!

Reorganized my shelves, because I got a new bookcase!

here's all the books in my little brown bookcase on my messy floor

And a look at the space I made! :)

And here's what it looks like now! Notice the space? I'm gonna fill it tomorrow!!! :)

Random things:

Polished, a YouTube network, reblogged this photo from me! It was one of several. :)

I have over 60 subscribers on YouTube! When I reached 50, it blew my mind, but now it keeps climbing!!! THANK YOU ALL!!!!

And last thing

I GOT A CAR!!!

Ignore Karl, he was cleaning the gear shift because it was unreadable. BUT I'M NOT GONNA COMPLAIN BECAUSE IT WAS FREE! FREE.
No complaints from me at ALL! LA Knight's parents got a new car, gave the lightly used old one to LA Knight and Karl, and they gave me the old one! I've broken down crying more than once because I got a car for FREE. I owe nothing. I need to clean it, but I'm not complaining at all, because my friends and their family are amazing people and I'd still be the broke girl driving her feet without them!!!

So that was the past, like, 3 months. I'm SO SORRY for not posting this earlier! I'm a dunce who doesn't check her camera! ><

So, find something cool at a store? Win something? Or have amazing friends?
Let me know down below!!!

Free - Poem

Bored (I was supposed to be out of town all day today, but that didn't happen), I wasn't sure if I should edit, write, or watch something. Decided to write, and found a poem floating in my head. It just comes.

Poetry is emotion written out. Writing is using words to paint a picture, but poetry is more free. It's just emotion giving words. It can be really free, empowering, etc. Today I went for something different. I dunno where it came from. Maybe I'm just tired of little peons thinking they're something and attacking people. If you're apart of Tumblr, you know what I mean.

So here it is. Free.

The world with its voices
Scream for attention
YOU’RE NOT THIS
YOU’RE THAT
NOT GOOD ENOUGH
NOT SKINNY ENOUGH
NOT ENOUGH
NEED THIS
ARE THAT

Lies

Those lies circle
Smelling your fear
Frustration
Anxiety
Like sharks
Hunting
Prowling
Demanding

It’s easy to let them rip at you
Naw at you
Tear you apart
It’s harder to stand
Look them in the eyes
Tear them apart

Remember:
THEY HAVE YOU POWER OVER YOU

Yes
Sometimes they have your mind
Your thoughts
Your emotions
But you can always take it back

It’s not easy
Hell, it’s almost impossible
But remember again:
NOTHING’S IMPOSSIBLE

Go ahead and cry
Wail and scream
Then let a new emotion come over you

ANGER

It has its power
And like fire it can consume
But you choose:
You
Or not
Inward
Or outward

I get angry
At the world
At myself
But mostly at the
Lies

At those that feed it
Knowingly or not
For there is evil
There is a master of evil
And he wants you destroyed
He laughs as we bark at each other
At ourselves

There’s nothing more satisfying
Than following that old advice
“Get thee hence!”
With real power
Real anger
It works

The world still lies
Still tries to break you apart
But in that moment
When the lies are laid bare
Your mind and emotions are yours,
You are truly you
And free

I Hate Anxiety and Depression

I suddenly felt inspired to write this. We're coming into the holiday season, and while Halloween is normally a fun holiday, the two following can be darker, and harder to cope with. I'll post a bigger one as we get closer to the heart of the holidays, but I really wanted to share this.

This is from my Tumblr.

I hate depression. It’s a little voice on your back, hanging onto as you go through life. Sometimes it’s like it’s tired, sleeping, dormant. And then, when you least expect it, it’s there, whispering falsehoods and untruths in your ear. Whispering in your heart. It tells you, “You’ll fail. You can’t do that. You’ll never do that.”
Anxiety is the same. It clutches around your head, smaller than depression, but no less loud. See, it’s closer to your ear, so it scream or whisper, depending on its mood. And when it wakes up, often depression wakes up too, and they both talk to you, scream at you. Drag you down.
They can paralyze you, still your hands, your heart. Make your mind race, giving you a killer headache.
At their worst, they reach into your chest, and wrap their filthy hands around your heart. Their screams echo in your mind, you heart is breaking from the pressure, your head from their noise. You collapse, curling into a ball, often in your bed. At times, you want to end it. Their lies have you eyeing the knife, the gun.
But there’s something stronger than either of them, something that can still your hands, and warm your soul.
Love.
Love can break them both. You tell you that you’re not worthy of love. That no one cares. That if you disappear, no one will even cry. They’ll be relieved. The lies can tear the love out of you.
Then comes along love. It can be from a friend, a family member, a lover, a spouse. A complete stranger. And if you hold on, it’ll come. Maybe not from whom it should, but it’ll come.
It can come from me.
And it’s always come to me. I have both. I hate them both. But I can hang on.

And so can you.
