My Week Pics ~10/27 - 11/2~

Hey Guys!

I've been on a roll with these posts, yay! *Knocks on wood* Now to stay on top of it!

Anywho, so Thursday was Halloween! As I've said, it's my fav holiday with Christmas right behind. So of course me and my girls celebrated it by dressing up then watching some movies! I also have some other pics as well!

 

 

Here's the awesome boots I got for about $16 at Ross! I'm super happy because my old black boots fell to pieces on me this past February when I really needed them. So I def needed something, and I really wanted some moto boots. Just what I was looking for, and for a totally great price!

 

 

 

On the same trip where I picked the boots up, I picked up this little guy, Mummy Sock Monkey (yes, that is his name. Kinda a let down for a Beanie Baby, don't cha think?). I wore him from my wrist Halloween night, and he's staying in my personal Halloween decorations, along with my Tiny Beanie Baby bear in a ghost costume :)

 

 

 

Tried out my halloween look, and suffeciently spooked out my cats! They seriously ran away from me! >:D

When I picked this sweater dress, I immediately shrank it by not drying it properly, but I washed it again, pulled on it, hung it up to dry, and it went back to normal! And don't mind how bad I look, this is try number 4 or 5 to get this pic, so I was frazzled at this point.

Ray as a Fae! Look at those scales! And her hair's down, yay!

 

Megan as a Dead Bridesmaid. She looks suffiently creepy and pale!

 

And me as the creepy, stitching doll! I didn't scare any kids, but I felt the part, especially when I turned my head and went "Mama?" I gave chills to my friends and brother >:D

We ate too much candy some of which was sugar-free, handed out sugary treats to cute or spooky kiddos, watched lots of movies and just had a blast! Totally love this holiday!

 

 

 

This just happened today. In 3 or 4 days, 265 have pinned this and 51 have liked it! OMG, that's a LOT! Actually, I just checked it again, and it's 285 pins and 57 likes! WHOA!

July Favorites 2013

Hey ya'll!!!

So apparently I labeled June's favorites as July Favs. And no one told me!!! Oh well, I fixed it now!!!

I'm not sure I'll be able to do a weekly update since I only have 2 pics... If not, I'll add it onto another weeks!

Legend of Zelda: Four Swords the Manga

 

I love Legend of Zelda, and this manga's really well done! I want to play the game now...

 

 

MOVIES

 

 

Cleopatra (starring Elizabeth Taylor)

 

I've been on an old movie kick because I've barely seen any classics. I can't stand a lot of them, but this one was really well done. It was dry in the beginning, but the dialogue was so brilliant later on that I became a try fan!!!

 

 

Breakfast at Tiffany's

 

This one was brilliant from start to finish! Unlike the last Audrey Hepburn movie (My Fair Lady), I love the characters and their development. Very great, and the party scene is to die for!!!

 

 

Teen Beach Movie

 

A Disney Musical making fun of Disney Musicals! So funny, cute, and the fact that the characters are 18 instead of 13 is nice too. I adore Cruisin' for a Bruisin', and the fact that several dancers are from So You Think You Can Dance is awesome!

Yes, I know I'm a little old to watching this kind of thing, but I love the fun stuff like this as much as the rocking adventure flicks like Transformers.

This month was Star Wars Celebration Europe. As the last one was held long before I used Youtube for anything other than AMVs, I've never heard of, or seen anything about Celebration. So this months vids were very welcome. Going to one is now on my bucket list.

Oh, and all the behind the scenes, tv show clips and inside scoops are pretty darn awesome too!

I heard this on Radio Disney--yes, you read that right. I listen to it to keep me from being super depressed when writing abuse and torture scenes--and instantly fell in love. It's just so upbeat and fun!

I know this song has probably been overplayed, but I just love this song! It's great by it's own, but in this AMV it really brought out the lyrics in a way even the band may not have thought of!

Hunchback of Notre Dame Soundtrack - God Bless the Outcasts

 

I mentioned that I haven't seen the movie often in a past post, but I didn't know how much I was missing out until I saw this scene for the second time. Man I love this song! It's at the top of every major playlist I listen to now (yes, including the one I'm currently listening to)

 

 

MAKEUP

 

 

This Nyx Palette I got from my awesome cousin Laura (check that post here: http://lorienlobrien.blogspot.com/2013/06/my-weeks-in-pics-531-614.html) has proven to be AWESOME! I've worn it almost every time I put on makeup since! With Maybelline's Bad the Bronze as a base, this palette really makes my eyes pop! Love it!

SHOES

 

 

These are my fav shoes right now. I got them at Ross for only $14, and while they look cute, they've been a savior this past month. My mom's new school opened with just a little over two weeks to the students' first day. That was when we could start moving in my mom's stuff. It took a while for the teachers to figure out how to get the AC to work, so it was really hot the first little while. These sandals were a life safer!!! I kept cool, and unlike cheapo flipflops, the straps go in the sides. The other ones I wore hurt my feet. Not these!!!

My Week(s) in Pics ~5/31 - 6/14~

Here's what I've been up to the past two weeks

 

My friend Jessica, who passed away some years ago, had her birthday this week. To honor her everyone wore silly socks. I don't own any silly socks, so I painted my toenails 5 different colors! Her mom said Jess would love them!

(Colors from big toe to little toe: Pink, purple, green, blue and red) 

 

 

 

 Summer's officially here. 104 in Vail equals 108 in Tucson. My bro's car said it was more like 110 

 

 

 

Mighty's new favorite spot...the bookshelf in David's room! He's so weird...that's why we call him Potato. The worst part about that is that he LOVES that name! 

 

 

 Strider is so obsessed with my mom's chair, which I'm currently using, that he meows, acting like he wants to go out, and when I get up, he takes it! He was playing cute right here, hoping to steal my chair again, the little thief!

 

 

 

I've been dying to get a pair of Converse, but they're SO expensive! I wish I had the money to get the customized ones! These look so cool! 

 

 

 

 LA Knight brought over Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, which I really enjoyed. Very good movie explaining the senatorial system!

 

 

 

 And while we were watching, I noticed a box outside my front door. My cousin Laura, who is AMAZING btw, sent me some shoes and extra makeup! No special occasion, just sent them! I love the shoes and I'm looking forward to using the makeup!

Sorry for not doing this blog sooner, I had a couple things to do, and one more item to take a shot of. I never did get a pic of Menlo, my mom's now closed school, which I'm a little sad about, but whatev's. It just never happened.

On our way to my mom's school, me and my brother stopped at Taco Bell and picked up some Mountain Dew Baja Blast Freezes. Boy, that was yummy!

 

 

This was my mom's door, decorated entirely by her kids! They won an award! Don't you think they deserved it? It's awesome!!!

 

 

I got this little bag for ten bucks at Forever 21! I love it! It's got studded ears! Now it holds all my makeup thingies in my purse!

 

 

Memorial Weekend, the Dillard's Clearance Warehouse was having a sale, everything 50% off! These $35 shoes were $6

 

 

These gorgeous $80 platform heels were only $14

 

 

And these $80 printed pants were only $14! My cousins all went at different times, and we all got amazing deals! I'm gonna head back some time this summer with Megan and LA in tow to get some deals!!!

As I said, my mom's school has closed (You can see my mommy in this picture right above, relaxing). And yesterday, the last things to come home made it here. So now the house is STUFFED with her classroom materials. The computer room in particular is very full. Me and LA used to move my laptop in there so we could work together...but until my mom gets to the new school, we're just gonna have to work separately... :(

 

 

Along with my mom's stuff came these guys.

My Week in Photos ~5/10 - 5/17~

Hey guys!

So, this past week has been crazy for me! Edited Obsidian SUPER FAST, Mother's day, shopping, and lots of fun! Took some pics along the way, so here we go!!!

 

 I have no idea why it's sideways... but went shopping with my mom twice, and got these super cute shoes! I love them!!!

 

 

 

 For Mother's Day Dinner, mom wanted something she didn't have to cook or clean up. So daddy made his famous porkchops, and while me and Megan were putting the food away, the fork and porkchop got a little intimate. lol!

 

 

 

 We went shopping again on Monday, and I picked up this amazing palette "The Color Grid" by Profusion for only $5.99 at Ross! No damage (unlike most of their stuff)

 

 

 

 Along with these! OMG, the bikini balm TOTALLY works! And these makeup removal wipes were $2.99! Can't beat that!!!

 

 

 

 Last night, I checked out Kandee Johnson's latest vid, and this is the first thing you see if you pause it to let it load, like I do. LOL!

 

 

And don't forget to check out Amazon tonight, because Obsidian will be OUT! Along with a newer, cooler, version of Glass!!! Watch my Facebook and Twitter and I'll let you know when they go live, and you can order the Kindel versions!
