Yup, Forgot Again (Videos and Updates)

Although I do have an excuse, I was travelling the whole last half of last week, and couldn't get to YouTube or tumblr. So there.

But I couldn't posted something.

Quick update of things: I've been writing in Glenn's Story some more. I need to go through and look at things because the whole first parts of the book have been from multiple perspectives, but where I'm at now that's not really practical, so I'm gonna go over it again before posting it on Figment. So I'm still writing, but I really need to take things slowly. My hands have been getting worse, flaring up more often. Sometimes, especially while I was travelling, I wake up from my hand(s) bugging me and have to put on my brace. :(

My Week In Pics: I don't know if I'll continue them. I haven't been taking many pictures lately, mostly due to reading and being online a great deal. I guess I can, but there will be a break from it. Gonna admit, some of it is from backlash of certain person getting in my face about my life. I do share some of it on here, but my life is my business, and a lot of it I don't share. A whole lot of it stays between me and a very few people. In fact a good chunk of the pictures and even the videos I shoot are not shared at all and stay for just me.

But this blog will continue on, regardless of anything. I know only 1 person comments, and so long as she continues to do so, I will continue to post. Just like my videos. Sure, they don't reach a large audience. But so long as I have 1 subscriber who likes my videos I will continue to post. And yes, I'm well aware I have 25 lovely subscribers and I love and am very grateful for all of them. So the channel continues while I can post, this will continue so long as I can post.

I've done three videos since I last posted. Two went up while I was away from the computer (thanks to the awesomeness of YouTube), so not surprising I didn't post about them, and 1 went up 15 minutes ago.





This 1st vid is The Writer's Dream Tag. It kind deserves it's own post, but I don't wanna! >:D It's a tag all about writing and goals and dreams and whatnot. So check it!





This one went up while I was in Phoenix, locked away from YouTube, so it doesn't have many views since I couldn't share it in a timely manner. :/

It's a double review of two manga I truly love, Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan, and the Anne of Green Gables manga. Nura you can get here in the US, though they hadn't started publishing it when I started reading it, while Anne you can NOT get here. It's in Japanese ONLY. :(





Last video to go up is the BookTube Newbie Tag! I wasn't tagged, but hardly anyone is for this tag, since it's for newcomers to the community. I enjoyed doing it as I'm sharing what my goals and hopes are for this channel. LA Knight did it also, but I don't know when her's is going up. Normally we email each other while she's at work, but she's super busy today, so hardly any chat time.

No, these are not rolls. My mom made RUNZAS! Stuffed rolls, with ground beef and cabbage! So delicious! This was one of TWO batches she did, and we have some meat left over for more! ;)

My dad has the latter half of this week off like my mom (who's a teacher on spring break). Strider wasn't used to him occupying their chair so late into the night and was begging and begging for the chair. He's scared of the camera, that's why he looks nervous, but he refused to move from the spot by my dad, lol!

Found an awesome Pinterest board for FMA, so of course I had to rewatch both series (never saw all of the first one, they didn't do so many reruns back then and I missed the middle). This dude was a side character in ep 3 or 4 of the original...he never blinked. Not once! O.O'

Had my first churro in over TEN YEARS. Oh man, it was so good!

We FINALLY got this! I love it, and don't know why it didn't do well! Sad they aren't gonna do the other four! :(

Today I also finished Nevermore, Ray's fav novel of all time. It's definitely NOT a fav, but it is good. I'll read book 2 before I decide if I want to own this. It's good, but not that good, not by itself. I'll definitely be doing a video review about it, though!

That was my past (just over) a week! I went out of town, read a bunch, and wrote a little.

My Week in Pics ~1/4 - 1/11~

Hey guys!

So I don't have many pictures, but I do have a few. Sadly, the best part of the week was when I logged in and found out that I had 122 views in ONE DAY! OMG, thank you guys so much! I wanted to take a picture, but I waited an hour, and stupid blogspot.com had moved down so I couldn't see it anymore! I think it was January 6th. But even if it was just 22 views, thanks so much!!!

Anywho, onto the pics!

Panda's opened just down the road from my house (okay, not just down the road. Just down the road is desert in every direction. But closer to my home than the 30+ min drive it was before!) So I've eaten there twice this past week! I must say, I'm loving it, because they're veggies aren't drenched in butter (I think. I hope not!) And their Teriyaki Chicken is AMAZING!!!

Oh, now I'm getting hungry. o.o"

This was my fortune when I went with my brother. As an author, I hope my book becomes famous. Then I just write for a living! A girl can dream, right? lol!

...this was my brothers. He's only 26! Come on, fortune cookie! LOL! We thought it was hilarious. :)

I don't wear makeup around my house, nor when I'm gonna just edit with Ray. For goodness's sake, I normally wear pj's around my house until late at night. I can't help it! I'm not going anywhere five days out of the week, so who cares, right?

My Week in Pics ~12/26 - 1/3~

Hey guys!

So I don't have many pics this week, I was working on a ton of blog posts for ya'll! (seriously, if you haven't noticed, I've done 4 times the regular amount this week, holy crap). But I do have a few pictures for ya!

Here they are!

New Years day is Dillard's largest and busiest sale of the year. Basically if it's on clearance, it's an additional 50% off. Not of everything, but most things! Got a cute purple skirt, star scarf, and cute socks! The tights are the wrong size, so I'm gonna have to return them today or tomorrow.

I also picked up this GORGEOUS ring for $7! Only seven bucks, man! LOVE it! The peach color of the stone will totally go with rose gold, which I'm planning on getting some jewelry in that color for gem show!

Since it's a new year, most are making resolutions. I made some, but this is my main one.

This is the rest!!! Though they're more of goals than a resolution. My main goal this year is finish and publish Warrior. I want to see it on book shelves by this time next year, or it being very close to it!

I know most would start looking for an agent now, but with my carpal tunnel acting up, I don't want to risk the book not being finished on time. I can't sit for 14 hrs and type. In fact I can barely handle 4. But I'm going to do my best to get Warrior done.

My Week Pics ~10/27 - 11/2~

Hey Guys!

I've been on a roll with these posts, yay! *Knocks on wood* Now to stay on top of it!

Anywho, so Thursday was Halloween! As I've said, it's my fav holiday with Christmas right behind. So of course me and my girls celebrated it by dressing up then watching some movies! I also have some other pics as well!

 

 

Here's the awesome boots I got for about $16 at Ross! I'm super happy because my old black boots fell to pieces on me this past February when I really needed them. So I def needed something, and I really wanted some moto boots. Just what I was looking for, and for a totally great price!

 

 

 

On the same trip where I picked the boots up, I picked up this little guy, Mummy Sock Monkey (yes, that is his name. Kinda a let down for a Beanie Baby, don't cha think?). I wore him from my wrist Halloween night, and he's staying in my personal Halloween decorations, along with my Tiny Beanie Baby bear in a ghost costume :)

 

 

 

Tried out my halloween look, and suffeciently spooked out my cats! They seriously ran away from me! >:D

When I picked this sweater dress, I immediately shrank it by not drying it properly, but I washed it again, pulled on it, hung it up to dry, and it went back to normal! And don't mind how bad I look, this is try number 4 or 5 to get this pic, so I was frazzled at this point.

We ate too much candy some of which was sugar-free, handed out sugary treats to cute or spooky kiddos, watched lots of movies and just had a blast! Totally love this holiday!

 

 

 

This just happened today. In 3 or 4 days, 265 have pinned this and 51 have liked it! OMG, that's a LOT! Actually, I just checked it again, and it's 285 pins and 57 likes! WHOA!

My Week In Pics ~10/20 - 10/28~

Yes, I am aware that it is the 28th, but the 26th I spent mostly in town, or sleeping. I was tired after running 20 hrs on 4 hrs of sleep! I can't do that every day! I never really could, honestly, not without getting super psycho and sick!

Anywho, I had a pretty good week last week, in which I continued to find Mighty in my room. I still do, actually. During my nap on the 26th, he was under my bed. I could hear him, but I had no idea where he was!

But onto the pics!

I FOUND IT!!! Remember this little amazing travel-sized bottle of wonderful hair-fixer? I lost it! I pulled it out for this blog post (http://lorienlobrien.blogspot.com/2013/07/july-favorites-2013.html) but it disappeared! Well, I vacuumed while marinating the chicken meat, and I FOUND IT!!! OMG, I'm super happy! I'll def be using this, this week for Halloween!

 

 

 

Came into my room and look who decided to fall asleep just in the weirdest spot ever! He's so strange...

 

 

 

...Seriously strange! He just comes into my room and lays where ever. Then again, I guess that's what cats do. But he's never liked my room...until now.

 

 

 

My savoir after randomly waking up 4 hrs before my alarm was supposed to go off. I guess it was all the diet Dr. Pepper the day before... o.o'

 

That was my past week, and Halloween couldn't come fast enough! Just got my decorations up today, and tried out my makeup look for the big night!

...during which I will be home, dressed up all fancy, watching Halloween movies with my besties! Am I crazy? Probably. Do I care? Nope!

My Week in Pics ~10/13 - 10/19~

YES! I am BACK! And I've remembered to snap some pics!

(Don't mind the blurry one, I only had a few secs, and I had the camera on the wrong setting...)

Here's what I've been up to this week, after getting (mostly) over my cold/flu/whatever illness!

 

My Thankful Journal is officially FULL! I now have a new one, that's a little bigger, but is still small and blue

 

 

 

Here it is (this is really close, didn't want to put it on the floor. Yes, I'm that lazy :)

 

 

 

It always makes my day when a youtuber with millions of subcribers replies to me. And Kandee's awesome! Proud to be a fan!

 

 

 

On the same day, an answer I left on Yahoo! Answers was favorited! It told me to brag, so I am :)

 

 

 

While running some errands I decided to buy a Pumpkin Spice Frap. First of all, it has coffee, and I don't drink coffee. I turn into a four year old who can't stop talking or moving (it's scarily hilarious). And then it gives me a two day migrain. Boo.

Second, it was just plain nasty. Waste of 4 dollars :(

 

 

 

But the four dollars I spent on these wasn't wasted! Both compliment my skin tone very nicely, and blend very well. And they have lasting power, not coming off completely when I scrubbed and ran my hand under the water. Yay!

 

 

 

To get the nasty taste of bad coffee out of my mouth, I ate these. The whole thing. Only a dollar, and they're so good! Not as strong as Nutella, but the filling complimented the cookie quite well!

Yeah, I watch too much Food Network and Cooking Channel...

 

 

 

Wednesday was my Bro's birthday, and we celebrated tonight! My mom made her amazing steaks, and this was the leftovers, which will probably be gone by the time I wake up tomorrow...

Not a bad cake (though I make them better, but I've been sick, soooo) and the ice cream was delicious. Yeah, my diet went out the window today.

Update: Where'd My Blogs Go to You Ask?

Hey ya'll!

So in case you were wondering what's going on with me, my laptop died just as me and LA Knight were getting started during our Weekly Day-of-Editing. The motherboard fried.

What this means about my writing is that all my files are gone. Yes, I have what I've posted on here and sent to LA, but everything else, all the background notes that I must have updated or I'm writing blind (Pantser is the proper term. It means I write by the seat of my pants), are gone. Writing without them usually results in my work hitting a dead-end with too many mistakes to continue on. So my writing is at a stand still until a wonderful friend of mine gets the files off the hard-drive (thank goodness THAT didn't die too!) and onto the computer he's giving me. YES, he is THAT AWESOME!!! LOVE YOU CHRIS!!!

Anywho, you may also wonder why I don't do "My Week in Photos/Pics" instead. That would be because the computer I'm using now (it's my parents), as well as my brother's computer do not have the drive needed to read the memory card for my camera. So no weekly posts for now either. I'm gonna try to get my pics off using my friend's laptop tomorrow, but there's no guarantee that I'll be able to do that every week. She's got a bad back and when she's in pain she needs to stay in bed at her apartment far from where I live.

So basically until I have the funds to keep writing, I'm out of luck, and so are you. I may pick up an ancient fanfic of mine in the meantime, but that's a BIG maybe.

My Week in Pics ~6/29 - 7/5~

Hey guys!

So this has been pretty dang awesome for me. I've been with my girls three days in a row so far, and I'm gonna see them twice more! And it was the 4th of July!

I celebrated it first with my family by seeing "The Lone Ranger" which was AWESOME btw! Then I got my girls and we chilled, then dinner was pretty great, followed by taking Megan to see her first fireworks show EVER! That was so fun!

Took a bunch of pics along the way, as well as found some that I forgot to post about my friend's wedding! Those will be first, then this week!!

 

Blake's and Eva's wedding was super sweet! And look at that cake!!!

 

 

Angel goes wherever she wants. Her tail kept closing the stuff my dad was watching. She's just too funny! =^.^=

 

 

I've only seen this like, 4 times. EVER. Had to watch it again. Such a good movie!
